What we will do?

Step 1
Hotel in San Jose
  • Pick up at your lodging
  • We will pick you up at your hotel, Airbnb or lodging at any place in San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia or Cartago at the Central Valley of Costa Rica.
  • One of our agents will call you to give you the pick up time for you be ready at the lobby of the hotel.
  • If you have a whatsapp cell number please provide us to have instant and quick contact with you.
  • You wont have to move to any meeting point, we will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel or the entrance of your Airbnb. This does not allow that you loose your tour beacuse of traffic or any others circumstances.
Step 2
Irazú Volcano
  • Irazú Volcano
  • We will drive for about 45-80 minutes from your hotel to get at our first stop(Irazu Volcano), passing for beutiful views like strawberries, flowers and coffee plantations at Cartago province.
  • The Irazu volcano is an active volcano located in the Central Volcanic Mountain Range, inside the national park that bears its name, about 32 km north of the city of Cartago. Its top, at an altitude of 3432 meters, and which makes it the highest volcano in Costa Rica, is located in the district of Santa Rosa, in the Canton of Oreamuno, Province of Cartago.
Step 3
Cartago Restaurants
  • Lunch at Cartago
  • After Irazu Volcano National Park we will stop at look point to see the beutiful views of Central Valley of Costa Rica and them we will arrive to one of tipical restaurants of Cartago Zone to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican tipical food.
  • We will have options for vegetarian and vegan. But please let us know at comment space.
  • Lunch is included at the the price of this tour.
Step 4
Turrialba Volcano
  • Turrialba Volcano
  • After Lunch we will continue with our tour to Turrialba Volcano, passing thorugh the montains we will get to one of the most famous and volcanoes in Costa Rica
  • The Turrialba volcano is an active stratovolcano in Costa Rica, located in the district of Santa Cruz, in the canton of Turrialba, province of Cartago, 24 km from the city of the same name. It is the easternmost of the volcanoes in the Central Volcanic Cordillera, and gives its name to the national park that surrounds it, the Turrialba Volcano National Park. With its summit located at 3340 meters, It is the second highest volcano in Costa Rica, surpassed only by the Irazú Volcano (3432 meters).

Step 5
Trillizas Waterfall
  • Trillizas Waterfall
  • Our last stop is at three beautiful waterfalls located close to Turrialba Volcano. Las Trillizas waterfall is located in San Antonio de Santa Cruz de Turrialba.
  • As its name says, there are three waterfalls, with a fall of 20, 30 and 40 meters. The difficulty of entering is moderate, with a walk through the forest of about 20 minutes, once you have entered the farm, for which sticks are recommended to support yourself on the path. The falls are suitable for bathing and there is an area with bathrooms where people can change
  • Entrances are included at the the price of this tour.

Nov 03, 2024:A perfect day with spectacular sights and an authentic Costa Rican lunch This day trip was perfect. Everything we hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to get to the Poas volcano around 10 AM with the sun still shining so perfect viewing... Plenty of locations where Hobiton would fit in perfectly :-)
Oct 29, 2024:A wonderful experience It's worth every penny for a safe and worry-free experience! The guides are friendly and very helpful. We learned a lot and it was nice to go at our own pace. They have thought a lot about the customer experience and it shows. Very punctual and the Poas volcano was spectacular and the coffee tour was very educational and the spectacular waterfall.
