Tour Itinerary

Step 1
Hotel in San Jose
  • Pick up at your lodging
  • We will pick you up at your hotel, Airbnb or lodging at any place in San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia or Cartago at the Central Valley of Costa Rica.
  • One of our agents will call you to give you the pick up time for you be ready at the lobby of the hotel.
  • If you have a whatsapp cell number please provide us to have instant and quick contact with you.
  • You wont have to move to any meeting point, we will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel or the entrance of your Airbnb. This does not allow that you loose your tour beacuse of traffic or any others circumstances.
Step 2
La Paz Waterfall
  • La Paz Waterfall
  • We will continue with our tour to La Paz Waterfall, passing thorugh the montains we will get to one of the most famous and exuberants waterfalls of Costa Rica
  • The waterfall is located immediately alongside Route 126. The River La Paz forms the waterfall after traversing 8 kilometres (5 mi) of volcanic terrain, and then continues through the rainforest of the eastern side of Poas Volcano. A short path leads behind the waterfall, where a small shrine had been located. Upstream from the waterfall is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a hotel and park, where visitors can observe many different species of local wildlife.

Step 3
Rio Celeste or Rio Agrio
  • Rio Agrio
  • Hike alongside the alluring blue waters of Rio Celeste on a full-day trip from San Jose. After driving through the Costa Rican countryside, follow rain forest trails that wind past waterfalls and lookout points over the river known for its remarkable color. Reward your efforts with a soak in mineral-rich hot springs that flow from nearby Arenal Volcano.

Step 4
Hot Springs and Rio Celeste Restaurants
  • Lunch at Rio Agrio
  • After Rio Celeste Park we will stop at look point to see the beutiful views of Central Valley of Costa Rica and them we will arrive to one of tipical restaurants of Rio Celeste Zone to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican tipical food.
  • We will have options for vegetarian and vegan. But please let us know at comment space.
  • Lunch is included at the the price of this tour.
Step 5
Hot Springs in Rio Celeste
  • Volcano Hot Springs
  • The trip to the hot springs is to close out the day and unwind by soaking in hot waters to help loosen up muscles and enjoy the temperature and steam from the thermal waters of the Arenal volcano. The waters are filled with high minerals content which is good for therapeutic and medical uses.
  • Entrances are included at the the price of this tour.

Nov 03, 2024:A perfect day with spectacular sights and an authentic Costa Rican lunch This day trip was perfect. Everything we hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to get to the Poas volcano around 10 AM with the sun still shining so perfect viewing... Plenty of locations where Hobiton would fit in perfectly :-)
Oct 29, 2024:A wonderful experience It's worth every penny for a safe and worry-free experience! The guides are friendly and very helpful. We learned a lot and it was nice to go at our own pace. They have thought a lot about the customer experience and it shows. Very punctual and the Poas volcano was spectacular and the coffee tour was very educational and the spectacular waterfall.
