What we will do?

Step 1
Hotel in San Jose
  • Pick up at your lodging
  • We will pick you up at your hotel, Airbnb or lodging at any place in San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia or Cartago at the Central Valley of Costa Rica.
  • One of our agents will call you to give you the pick up time for you be ready at the lobby of the hotel.
  • If you have a whatsapp cell number please provide us to have instant and quick contact with you.
  • You wont have to move to any meeting point, we will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel or the entrance of your Airbnb. This does not allow that you loose your tour beacuse of traffic or any others circumstances.
Step 2
Poas Volcano
  • Poas Volcano
  • We will drive for about 45-80 minutes from your hotel to get at our first stop(Poas Volcano), passing for beutiful views like strawberries, flowers and coffee plantations at Alajuela province. We also will check the monuments to Costa Rican heroes located at Alajuela downtown.
  • After driving we will arrive to Poas Volcano National Park, one of the most famous volcanoes in Costa Rica. The Poas Volcano, is an active 2,708-meters (8,885 ft) stratovolcano in central Costa Rica and is located within Poas Volcano National Park. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April 2017 when visitors and residents were evacuated.
  • Very important to bring your jacket or coat for cold and your hiking shoes.
  • Entrances are included at the the price of this tour.
Step 3
Poas Volcano Restaurants
  • Lunch at Poas Volcano
  • After Poas Volcano National Park we will stop at look point to see the beutiful views of Central Valley of Costa Rica and them we will arrive to one of tipical restaurants of Poas Volcano Zone to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican tipical food.
  • We will have options for vegetarian and vegan. But please let us know at comment space.
  • Lunch is included at the the price of this tour.
Step 4
La Paz Waterfall
  • La Paz Waterfall
  • After Lunch we will continue with our tour to La Paz Waterfall, passing thorugh the montains we will get to one of the most famous and exuberants waterfalls of Costa Rica
  • The waterfall is located immediately alongside Route 126. The River La Paz forms the waterfall after traversing 8 kilometres (5 mi) of volcanic terrain, and then continues through the rainforest of the eastern side of Poas Volcano. A short path leads behind the waterfall, where a small shrine had been located. Upstream from the waterfall is La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a hotel and park, where visitors can observe many different species of local wildlife.
  • No entrace required. Is free!
Step 5
Farm at Dulce Nombre Alajuela
  • Farm Coffee Tour
  • Our last stop is at the official Coffee Farm. One of the first and only coffee farm of the world for researching. This Coffee Farm came here to work the soil, learn from the land and channel the passion into positive change.

Nov 03, 2024:A perfect day with spectacular sights and an authentic Costa Rican lunch This day trip was perfect. Everything we hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to get to the Poas volcano around 10 AM with the sun still shining so perfect viewing... Plenty of locations where Hobiton would fit in perfectly :-)
Oct 29, 2024:A wonderful experience It's worth every penny for a safe and worry-free experience! The guides are friendly and very helpful. We learned a lot and it was nice to go at our own pace. They have thought a lot about the customer experience and it shows. Very punctual and the Poas volcano was spectacular and the coffee tour was very educational and the spectacular waterfall.
