Bejuco Beach is just 35 km north of Manuel Antonio and about 30 km south of Jaco but the atmosphere is different from these other popular destinations. The beach is pristine and clean. It has been categorized as a Blue Flag beach for its cleanliness. It is a popular nesting area for birds, and you can even surf.

Bejuco Beach is in stark to other beaches in Costa Rica, surrounded by fields, most families subsist on agriculture and fishing. Most of the area around Bejuco Beach is not developed yet, however, some small projects are beginning to sprout.

Bejuco community is very small and you can enjoy typical foods of Costa Rica and fresh fruit juices at restaurants. The brown sand beach stretches for miles and is surrounded by palm trees. It is common to spend the whole day in Bejuco and not see another person.
